In anticipation of a definitive answer to their improved Bryan Mbeumo offer, Manchester United is considering a cut midfielder to add to the ranks of Ruben Amorim.
The Red Devils have indeed emerged as surprising contenders in chasing the Wilfred Ndidi of Leicester City, according to Talksport.
The report has credited United and Everton with interest in the Nigerian, who can leave the King Power Stadium this summer for a lower fee of £ 9 million due to their relegation back to the championship.

It is also not the first time that the Reds have been linked to NDIDI. In fact, they have him on the shortlist during the summer window of last year, in which they had a short period in which they could have signed him as a free agent before he had again assigned his future to the foxes by signing a three -year deal.
However, a release clause was included to make a relatively seamless sale possible in the event that Leicester has not retained their top status. The men of Ruud van Nistelrooy finally ended 18th placed and 13 points of safety.
Ndidi, 28, has collected 220 Premier League performances, with all for Leicester. He drew for the club in 2017 from Genk and has since played a crucial role in the heart of their team among each manager.
United has already welcomed one addition that has been proven that he can flourish in the EPL in the form of Matheus Cunha, who activated his £ 62.5 million release clause last month.
