Jol: How excited are you for Alex to do his dedication to Georgia Tech and to have a little bit of that recruitment stress from him?

Clamp: “Very enthusiastic for Alex. He worked so hard and so focused on so long. He deserves this chance very much, and his team and his coaches are so proud!”

Jol: What do you think of how Tech Alex has recruited or what technology makes the right fit for him?

Clamp: “I think GT has always been his favorite. As a student athlete, he was attracted to the elite education he could get there. He also understands the value of connections and knows that the GT alumni is at the highest level at the highest level. He loves his position coach and can be great to play him.”

Jol: What should Georgia Tech fans expect from Alex as a player and a person for those who may not have seen him play or know about him?

Clamp: “As a player, Alex is always preparing well. He takes good care of his body and he uses great discipline to be physically ready to perform at the highest level. As a competitor, he wants to win and remembers what it feels like to lose. Alex in all areas.”

Jol: What do you think of Alex’s skills and mindset translates well into the university level and do you see that he will be an impact player at Georgia Tech early next year?

Clamp: “I think Alex is great with his hands, and he has both strength and speed to defeat blocks and bring chaos to the opponent. With his physical strengths and athletic competence that he will put himself in position to bring great value when he steps on the campus. I would not be surprised if we see him playing next season.”
