George Kittle warns opponents of what Robert Saleh brings with 49 people

Last season, the San Francisco 49ers had the fourth worst defense in the competition, which gives 25.6 points per match to their opponents, which was only better than the Tenessee Titans (27.1), Dallas Cowboys (27.5) and Carolina Panthers (31.4).

Although injuries certainly played a factor in the poor performance of San Francisco on that side of the ball, the team finally decided to give a good part of the debt to defensive coordinator Nick Sorensen, who was promoted to the position after the Steve Wilks team had dismissed the year earlier.

With Sorensen, the 49 people decided to return an old friend and hire the former New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh, who previously served from San Francisco from 2017-2020 as the defensive coordinator of San Francisco.

The return of Saleh has excited many people in the building, including those on the other side of the ball, such as tight end George Kittle.

“He is really good at work, and I am really excited that we have convinced him in one way or another to be our defensive coordinator again,” Kittle Rich said during a recent performance at “The Rich Eisen Show” last week. “And he happens to be very, very smart. So I am pumped to have him back in the building, just hanging around with him, talking about things.”

Kittle and Saleh were both in the building in the four years of the latter as a defensive coordinator, so he knows exactly what fans and opponents can expect.

“Violence is coming, is what I would say,” said Kittle.

Looking at the six -fold Pro Bowler in the blocking game, it is clear that he loves physicality and violence that is accompanied by playing the sport. Although the 49ers had players who were able to play that way, they did not always show it. Now, with Saleh, Kittle thinks they will do that.
