Indiana Pacers -star Tyrese Haliburton shared a long message on social media on Monday evening, only a day away from his devastating Achilles injury in game 7 of the NBA Finals.
Haliburton went in the first quarter of the loss of the pacers to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday evening after his right leg had just spent. He pounded on the floor and was incredibly emotionally immediately immediately after touching the floor, clearly knowing what had happened.
The team quickly confirmed the injury and was operated on Monday. Although the Pacers did not give a timeline for his return, his entire season 2025-26 is undoubtedly in danger now.
“Man. Don’t know how to explain it differently than shooting,” Haliburton wrote on social media while sharing a photo of him in a hospital bed, a heartboard with his hands up. “Words cannot express the pain of this disappointment. The frustration is incomprehensible. I have worked all my life to achieve this moment and this is how it ends? Makes no sense.
“Now that I have undergone an operation, I wish I could count the number of times that people will tell me that I will” come back in a stronger way. “What a cliché lol, this s ** t is bad.
Haliburton first injured his right -hand galler in game 5 of the NBA Finals, but he continued to play because of the injury. He was available for Game 6 without a limitation and he led the team to a victory to force the game 7 on Sunday.

Since 2000, the Pacers played in their first NBA final and the franchise searched for his first championship since the merger. Although his presence on the field would not have been guaranteed the Pacers in any way, his absence was undoubtedly felt. That led Haliburton to apologize from Pacers fans.
Haliburton also promised to come back stronger when that is.
“Indy, I’m sorry. If a fan base doesn’t deserve this, it’s all of you,” he wrote. “But together we are going to fight hell to return to this place and overcome this obstacle. I don’t doubt that you all have my back, and I hope you know that I have yours … My journey to get where I was today, I have pushed myself every day to be great. And I will do that exactly.
“The most important part of this is that I am grateful. I am grateful for every experience that I led here. I am grateful for all love from the hoop world. I don’t have to go through this, I can go through this. I am grateful for the way that is waiting.
This message will soon be updated with more information.
